The Mavericks

Imagine going through school
Highschool, college, graduate studies
Job, career, executive position

Always seeking more
Never finding it
Because it was never there

Eventually you realize what you were seeking
It was never there, you became lost chasing a goal
A goal that you never really needed

You look around and realize everything you missed
Meanwhile the Mavericks were getting it
They went straight to it, skipping the bogus stuff

The Mavericks found happiness
They did what they loved and did it well
They didn't do it for money, fame or power

Don't waste your time spending your life chasing money
A miserable life isn't really living
Chase your dream and the money won't matter

Be a Maverick
